White Wednesday - Pearls, Girls!

I was playing with some pieces of costume jewellery earlier, well, actually I was trying to get some order into the heaps of stuff, and I realised that I had quite a few faux pearl necklaces. Pearls, aaah, they are such tactile little things, round, smooth, cool and softly shimmering and I love running strands of them through my hands.

So, for this week's White Wednesday over at FADED CHARM, I took a few photographs of my pearls. The first few are of a necklace which I really adore. Pearls combined with Swarovski crystals, doesn't get much better than that -

These gorgeous vintage pieces always have such wonderful clasps -

This is so much fun, piling them all up and playing with them -

Happy White Wednesday to all who are playing along as well. For more beautiful Whiteness, hope over to the FADED CHARM blog and check out the links.

Those clasps are a work of art on their own. Definitely need short hair to make the most of those ones. Never been a pearl girl but those are very nice indeed.

See, if I owned those I could never part with them. I'd have to wear them and most certainly display them for all to see. Gorgeous pearls.

You crack me up! We sooooo think alike! Remember when I told you not to sort or fold or wrap any lace - cuz I wanted it in a big pile whenI dumped it out and got to discover each and every piece? That's what this post reminds me of.
I love your pearls. I have one set of my Mom's, I wish I had the rest. BUT! Didn't know I'd one day want them and they went with the estate sale. Hurts my heart just thinking about it.But I guess we can't hang on to everything.
I love your pile.
Hey my niece is over from Oxford! We are going to see her today, along with my other niece's new baby! Very fun family reunion today!
Have a great weekend!!!
Hugs! Karen
