Pink Saturday - 1930s Lingerie Lace Trims

Just a very short Pink Saturday post today as my DH and DS3 are returning from France this afternoon, and I am way too excited to sit on the computer for long.

I found these beautiful lace trims at a vide greniers in France this summer. I have them in the sweet light sky blue as well, but the ones I am showing you today are a very lightest soft shell pink and so beautiful. I was planning to use one on a really dainty lacy collage or pillow or perhaps even a small bag. What would you do with some of these? -

Have a great weekend wherever you are, go find some fabulous bargains, craft something wonderful, and above all have fun!

After admiring them for a year, then I'd add them to a fabric journal.

How gorgeous and from France to boot.

I feel your excitement for men coming home, how sweet.

Oh you know how to make me drool over your laces but this is divine! I could see it bordering a brooch hanger - that would really show it off to the max or on a clutch all the way round! Oh you know me I could think of 101 ways to use it Liz - it's gorgeous!
Thanks for popping over and leaving a comment on my new Tattered Lace Journal.
Hugs and enjoy your men home again!

Hi Liz,
Your lace from France is so beautiful and I know you will make the prettiest treasures with these pieces. I can also see them on pillows, aprons, Christmas ornaments and how about hand towels too for decoration. Just dreamy my friend.

Thank you for sharing.

A gourgeous lace with a very special color i think. You can use it for everything. But i think it would look very lovely on a small purse.
