Crafting on a Sunday Afternoon

Well, the sewing machine is out, the fabrics and laces and bits and pieces are piled up, and I have managed to ignore all those things so far, lol. Instead, I started messing around with paper bits. I made another Eiffel Tower tag, bit different this time, and then I decided to make a few little label thingies to use in paper collages and gift tags. Sigh, glueing and stamping is so much fun.

Don't have much to show for it, but I am looking at the little label thingies as a kind of preparation for bigger things, ahem. You can see where this is going, can't you? Another short (for me) post, yay!

The Eiffel Tower tag-

The little label thingies -

The car boot fair this morning was cancelled, btw, despite it being a gloriously sunny day. Just because the field might have been a wee bit wet from the rain the day before. Humph, not a happy bunny.

See? Short post. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday (or your Monday morning if you are that side of the world). Toodlepip, xxx

I know how you enjoy your car boot sales but think of the cash you have saved and the crafting you have done today! Lovely little tags and the Eiffel Tower one is another gem.

Very sweet. Love how you put treasures together.
I have had no time (or inclination)for creating. About going crazy here. (have not forgotten about your prize)

I have a milestone coming up on my blog. I'd better get in the mood to make something cute!

hugs and Sunday blessings

Very nice work missus.

Yep, I'm back but a long way from up-to-speed yet. It could take a while.....have I ever been up-to-speed? :-/

I've done very little - am thinking about unpacking and re-packing to go and house-sit this week, been to see my Mum & Dad which was lovely, made some oaty things for lunches this week and am just waiting for my homemade pizza to cook. After that, it's back-resting time methinks.

Yes it's a glorious Monday morning here, the sun is shining and I'm very happy about it. Shame about the car boot sale, so annoying and quite pathetic really.

I do love those tags of yours. You have such lovely little bits to put on them. The little labels are so cute. They would be nice tucked into parcels or little cellophane bags of goodies. Will you be selling these as well?

OOOH, Liz, the little Merci tags are sweet! Yes, I'm curious about what you're going to do with them!

Sorry about the boot sale. Do they also stop doing them in the winter?

Hugs, Diane

OK, love the tags and everything. Is there anything you can't do?
But - I have a dumb question. Now My Friend, you will have to forgive me - being from the States and all - but . . . what is a Car Boot?
And there is another term you use all the time . . . I can't remember it now - but I wondered if it was like a flea market or something?
NOW STOP THAT! I can hear you laughing at me all the way here! :)
had to ask! HUGS! Karen
