I panic when things are not what I expect them to be. I sure panicked when I turned my pc on this morning and was confronted with this weird reading list with massively big photos without scroll bar. I felt somewhat better after I found out it wasn't anything I had done wrong ( phew ), and that others all over the world were having the same probs as well. And I was desperately hoping that it was a glitch and not permanent, because that would drive me bonkers. Boy, I am glad that finally, after waiting all day, everything is back to normal.
But of course this morning I was expecting the problem to be fixed rather more quickly. So I sat by the computer, and waited, and got bored, and started fiddling with laces again. And started hand stitching bits together. Ended up with another lavender pillow, lol! I do love lacy, pretty, romantic little pillows/sachets.
To top it all we had two lengthy power cuts this evening, one right in the middle of Eastenders, grr. And of course everything with clocks has to be reset again.
As it is now rather late in the evening, I'll keep this post very short and just show you a few pictures of the new lavender pillow -
It is made with vintage French metis ( linen cotton mix ), vintage and antique lace and few little silk flowers, and more of those fabulously sparkly crystal bicones ( from a broken vintage necklace ) of course.
I wish you all a very lovely weekend! Toodlepip, xxx

Now I know why you grabbed all that lace recently, yet another scrumptious bit of crafting Liz. I noticed that rubbish with the photos on blogger this morning and my heart sank, but at least uploading wasn't such a big deal this time.
Have a lovely weekend xx

Hi Liz,
Blogger has been driving me crazy the last few days too!
I love your sweet lacy pillow. It's so pretty and to think you made it just because you were bored!!!
No, that was not a real pink pumpkin on my blog, just a can of pink spray paint on an ugly fake orange plastic pumpkin! LOL.
hugs
Sissie
Good morning sweetie. (or is it night over here?)
Just came by to say hi, I need your address, and thanks for the visits to my place. (address is to send your little prize from forever ago while you were gone)
LOVE your little pillow! I've been gathering laces and pics and so on to do some little sachets in similar style myself. I've been so inspired by Diane Knott's pillows, and now yours, and many others too. Just need to GET IT DONE!
What method do you use for transferring to the fabric??
hugs and blessings on your day
barbara jean
