This week's challenges and oh good grief, more tags, lol

The challenge over at Every Inchie Monday was MAP. I used a teeny bit of a 1888 map of the area around Paris, and slightly altered the date to 1889 as the Eiffel Tower was built for the Exhibition in that year, and I had put a minute little Eiffel Tower bit on the map -

And now to the tag for this week, letter L. I think I just copy what I had written on the Tag Tuesday blog, its just too painful to write it out again...

L is for...... LYREBIRD,

or, in this case, LOST, as in completely LOST the plot, sigh. Does that ever happen to you, that you get so fixated on an idea that even though you know its complete poo and not working, you still go ahead and try and make it work? This wretched bird has stupidly fine tail feathers, why oh why did I pick it? And why the heck did I print it out so small that this tag is more like a 'spot the bird' competition ? And use such strong colours for the 'forest' background? This is definitely not my finest moment, lol, but once Lyrebird was in my head, it refused to let any other Ls in there -

See what I mean? Oh dear.

I just hope that you like the next tag I am showing you a little better -

Meowllo! Would you like for me to take care of the Lyrebird for mew? Just asking because you know I would do that for you....

And for the record.....yes she also does the "lost the plot" thing. And then when it's done she always asks me "why did you let me do this?" to which I feign sleepiness. Hey, self protection is better than, "I could have told you....".

Hope you are having a purrfect week! Let me know if mew need me to take care of the Lyrebird.

Purrs,

Romeo

Okay, I have started this three times and accidentally dumped it! so, I love the inchie, so tiny and perfect!
The lyrebird is safely camoflaged, but I LOVE green, also!!!
I found some of the ribbon leaves when we were in Seattle so I have two sizes now!. the velvet leaf on the Notre Dame tag is the perfect color for it...and I love the french ribbon flower. Such a gorgeous combination of colors on that tag. I love the lace pieces and especially the cherubs! So sweet!
I am posting my tag now! Oh, LOVE your new button!

Betsy

I like your inchie map very much. I also like your lyrebird too, I know what you mean when you say you have to keep going with an idea when it just won't go away.

Dear Liz, where have I been- and totally lost this post!!!
The inchie is beautiful, with the tiny map- and even The gree tag is a bit green,I don`t think it deserves that you call it a poo work :)
But ,I agree with you that the madonna tag is so very beautiful...I love the image, and that sweet heart with the yo-yo flower- gorgeous my friend.
Hugs and a happy Easter sunday to you Liz.
