Keys, footprints, both ingredients of a good murder mystery, but alas, they are only the themes for this week's challenges, I haven't started writing thrillers. Yet.
FOOTPRINT was the key word ( oh, good grief, KEY word, lol ) for this week's Every Inchie Monday challenge. I was probably still traumatised by all the snow we have had recently, because the first thing which sprang to mind was an animal footprint in the snow. A scrap of fluffed up woollen quilt batting, sparkled up with white German Glass glitter, and a teeny footprint pressed into it to make it look a little more realistic -
And over at the Tag Tuesday blog we have arrived at the letter K. Instead of a vintage image, I used a very vintage real KEY for the K tag. I wanted to keep to metal/rusty colours for the tag. I used three different Distress Stains for the background and sprayed a little Glimmer Mist over it. Added a few cut out key silhouettes, a bit of distressed lace and a little scroll in rust coloured ink -
I had a lot of grandbaby cuddles over the last few days, it was just wonderful. I took a few photos inbetween cuddles, and this one is my favourite at the moment -
Now tomorrow, you had better sit down with a cup of tea or coffee before you start reading tomorrow's post, because it is going to be long. Loooooooooooong. It has to be, so that you can properly appreciate the beautiful gifts I received a few days ago. I am still smiling.
So, until tomorrow, toodlepip xxx

Ein schönes Tag mit einer genialen Idee,
aber die beiden Kinder sind meine Favoriten.
Was für ein goldiges Baby.
So süß.

LIZ!
I adore your inchie and your KEYS tag! It reminded me that I need to make sure my daughter gets me some German glass glitter while she is there. They are going to the Flohmarkt on Thursday, I am so excited! and the beautiful picture of your Grandgirls.....ahh....I am so envious! I want to be with mine right now. Hug them and hold with me in mind....makes me happy you get to see your GGs more than I get to see mine!
Hearts to you, girl! You're in my blogpost today!
Betsy
Oh, I missed your birthday, didn't I......so sorry, love.

Your K-tag is gorgeous, love the stamp in rust colour and the old key-and that sweet tiny foot print in the snow, is wonderful Liz, how on earth did you press such mini pieces into the quilt batting- amazing!
And those two beautiful grandbabies- how lovely -and the sweetest photo it is. congratulations to you, and BIG HUG today, my dear sweet friend.

Love your inchie and your tag. Hope your thriller will have a happy end.
Oh, I do like your snowy pawprint, it has worked out really well. I like your tag too, using a real key made it a bit different.
