WHITE WEDNESDAY and a couple of lovely surprises

It is time for another WHITE WEDNESDAY post again. I was looking through my bits and pieces to see what I could show today, and I thought I'd show this fabulous Wedgwood jug. I know I posted some pics of this a year ago, when I first bought it, but even if you saw it then, you have probably forgotten about it by now, lol, and I wasn't participating in White Wednesday then.

I love this jug because it has the most fabulous dog shaped handle, and it reminds me so much of our beautiful Hector ( Rhodesian Ridgeback ).

I also adore the magnificent scenes on the jug.

Isn't it a beauty? Even the little chip on the rim doesn't do anything to lessen its charm and appeal.

--------------------------------------------------------

I also want to show you a couple of things my very nice postman brought me. A little while ago, I had a giveaway on my blog, and Lynne of Adorn, and Lynn of Trash to Treasure Art were both winners. And both lovely ladies sent me a gift!

From Lynne I received this gorgeous card, which now resides on the mantle piece behind my computer with lots of other pressies from bloggy friends -

Thank you, Lynne, for such a lovely gesture.

And from Lynn I received a much anticipated package. She told me that it was on the way, and you know what does to you, don't you? I love looking forward to mail. This is what arrived -

A sweet little box with.......... oooh, I love unwrapping gifts with all of you -

no, not a mummy, but this -

A fabulous soldered pendant! I am over the moon with it.

Thank you so much, Lynn, for this spooktastic charm! It has also joined the other gifts from bloggy friends, on the wall behind the computer. That way, I see these beautiful things every day.

I am linking this post to the WHITE WEDNESDAY link party over at the fabulous FADED CHARM blog. Go immerse yourself in wonderful whiteness!

That's such a gorgeous and exceptional jug, Liz. I have to admit that I really don't recall it from last year and I'm worried a little bit. If you show it again next week and I don't remember it, then I'll be worried big time, LOL.
The gifts you have received from those wonderful ladies are very lovely. Enjoy, my dear friend and have a great day :-)!
Hugs to you,
Julia

Hi Liz,
That pitcher is fabulous - I have never seen a handle like that before - it is totally exquisite. Your gifts are so lovely - how people can make those little treasures is beyond me - they are all so beautiful!

Your blog header is FABULOUS!!! Is that your cottage in France in the photo?
