White Wednesday - a tangle of threads
I was looking for a really strong thread the other day, and remembered that I had stashed away a whole bunch of antique and vintage French threads a couple of years ago. I was pretty sure that there was some strong linen thread amongst that lot. Oh, it was so lovely opening up the box again and going through all the different threads in there. I love the old labels on the pure linen threads. The big hanks of cotton threads in white and creams are so tactile, I have to admit, I had to play with them for a little while. There were bunches of vintage embroidery cottons as well. But I had better let you see for yourself, hadn't I?

Oh my whiskers!!!! Such beauty and simplicity.....let me get my paws on these though and it will no longer be a "simple" matter of untangling them MOL. I know, "bad kitty" - no worries, I wouldn't do that to you Mme. Liz....however, I would do that to "her". But you would expect that wouldn't you ;)
I hope all is well! Must go, I have lots of catching up to do here and I see some wonderful tags.....

Liz- your box of threads is indeed a treasure. And the photos are stunning. Love the palette of soft whites and tans. I bet you did enjoy digging around in it for the afternoon--
