I am turning into a tagaholic!

I find making tags endlessly fascinating a) because I can spend ages going through lots and lots of wonderful images and chosing the ones to suit my mood, b) because you can use up the tiniest scraps of paper or lace to embellish a tag., and c) because I love aging the images and bits and pieces and getting glue on my hands putting it all together.

So, when I came across this challenge on the quite wonderful Vintiquities Workshop blog

I was thinking tags before I had even printed out the hymn titles.

I thought it was a lovely challenge, although, never having taken part in a challenge before, I was very reluctant to participate. I left it until the last minute of course, but yesterday evening I finally decided to take the plunge and make some tags with some of the hymnal titles.

Somehow I associated the titles I picked with loving relationships and marriage, so I decided to use them for wedding gift tags. The presents for such a wonderful occasion are always wrapped so beautifully and deserve a special gift tag, right?

So, without further ado, ta daaa, here they are -

And now I am already thinking about the next lot of tags....

Dear Liz,

Your tags are just gorgeous! I don't make tags often but I also put one together a few days ago! There are a few tag challenge sites on my blog under Artsy Challenges - you should check them out and consider entering your work more often! They would be greatly appreciated there!

Hugs

They are just beautiful! I quite liked the tag-making myself. A bit less work compared cards, with fewer elements, but still very useful and so beautiful!
