Queenie and the Mysterious Beauty

Such an intriguing title, isn't it? I am afraid I have been misleading you ever so slightly, the post is just about this week's Every Monday Inchie challenge and the Tag Tuesday challenge. Tag Tuesday challenge for this week was somewhat predictable, DIAMOND JUBILEE.

This is what I came up with -

I think she is an amazing woman, and I have a lot of respect for her. And, she has the most beautiful smile, just as lovely now as it was 60 years ago when she was a very young Queen. That is why I picked these two photographs of her.

I might have gone just a little overboard with the bling, but hey, couldn't really miss this opportunity to use diamond sparklies everywhere. Diamonds are a girl's best friend after all. So, I framed the whole tag in large diamonsd, used tiny diamonds for the big 60 and sparkled up the older Queen's necklace and the younger Queen's crown.

--------------------------------------------

The quite intriguing challenge on the Every Inchie Monday blog this week is VEIL. I knew straight away that I wanted a sultry, mysterious beauty behind that veil, and thankfully, I had an image I could use in my little craftavan stash.

Here she is -

I used a tiny piece from an actual veil for her head dress and veil, decorated and clasped shut with rubies.

Completely fabulous, Liz! Love these!! For some reason, blogger would not let me post a pic and then put writing underneath, so my post looks so crazy today...I tried doing it five times...crazy, huh? Hope you're having a great day!
