Announcing the GIVEWAY winners!

Yep, thats right, winnerS. I have decided to draw three names out of my little heart shaped box. I did it the old fashioned way, put the names of all the people who commented on strips of paper, folded them and put them in my little heart shaped box. And out of the box came -

Julia - who had asked for small metal or wood items for assemblages

Amy B - who had asked for French ephemera and lace

Karen O ( Roosterhead Designs) - who still has to tell me what sort of thing she would like.

Would you please get in touch so I can confirm the addresses with you and also to narrow down what to send you?

Thank you all so much for entering and helping me to spread a little bit of happiness.

Leaving you with an old photo of our view from the cottage ( but we are in the UK )

Truly giving thanks to discover (on the last day of Thanksgiving weekend no less) that I was a lucky winner! I just re-read "A Christmas Carol" by Dickens. My daughter had to read it for her language arts class and write an essay arguing whether or not people can change. Happily, she concluded that people can, indeed, transform. Your giveaway was in response to the awful acts of misguided souls, but kind and loving ones like you, Liz, are in the majority. I hold out hope that good will prevail and that individuals can change, and in so doing help change the collective "us." I am very grateful for your generosity. - Amy Bauer
