Simply Neutrals Tuesday No. 1

I hope this is going to be the first of many! Wen from the beautiful AppleApricot blog has started this wonderful new linky party for all of us who love the beautiful soft neutral colours in our homes and in our creations. I am so happy, I have really missed the Blissful White Wednesdays and Grey Dey Thursdeys parties, so I am super excited about this new one.

I really love the faded beauty of old hydrangea flowers, those soft shades of beige are so gentle and warm, and I always keep some on my little desk, often as a background for new little finds -

And here are a few of those recent finds in delightful neutral colours -

I adore these beautiful old French creamy white crosses

Victorian era French night cap, trimmed with delicate hand made broderie anglaise -

1870s small jardiniere, the silver plate finish long gone and now all grey base metal, but beautiful all the same, filled with some old parcel carry handles from a store in Paris -

I hope lots of you are going to join the party with your beautiful neutrals, I am so looking forward to seeing lots and lots of gorgeous posts.

Oh my oh my so much gorgeousness! Dear Liz, your Simply Neutrals post is wonderfully filled with beauty. That beautiful cross and the once silver jardiniere, the sweet nightcap are treasures. And I love love dried hydrangeas, so you couldn't do me a bigger favor than adorning this first party with them! Thank you so much for joining and for the shout out. This will be a weekly party from now on, so you're being served :) Sending you big hugs

Beautiful neutrals Liz.
I have bowls of my faded white hydrangeas through the house too - they're so lovely when they become papery.
The creamy white cross is beautiful - I haven't seen one like that before - I only saw metal or wooden ones at the brocantes.
It's lovely to have Wen's new party as a venue for those of us who favour the neutrals!
Hugs
Shane

My dear Liz, what a collection of pure beauty, dearest friend, such wonderful finds, like the cross, which is amazingly beautiful, and the dried hydrangeas are so filled with romance and sweetness from nature. The cap is lovely too, and ofcourse I adore the jardiniere, and your carry handles, Liz.
A beautiful post to honour dear Wen and her lovely idea !!
Love to you, and hugs ! Dorthe

I love dried hydrangeas, too. They last well, don't they? Your neutrals are beautiful, especially the old silverware. That one has a lovely shape.
