I finally got my new camera lens today, woohoo! I felt so lost without my camera, but now I am smiling again :-). However, I didn't get it in time to catch the few minutes of sunlight we had today, so for this week's prompt over at the Our Beautiful World blog, SHADOWS, I picked a photo a took quite a while ago for an inchie - the shadow thrown by a vintage crochet doily in the window -
Now that I can use my camera again, I will be posting more often and also filling up the shelves in my Etsy shop again!

Those precious moments of sunlight catching precious shadows
I'd love to send you mountains of sun from here where I sit not being able to go out in it today with such high temperatures - we are in a heat wave!
Sending sunlight and sunshine hugs,
Suzy
PS How exciting to receive your new lens!!!! There'll be no stopping the sound of clicking in your home now!
Oh, Yay!
You got right on taking pictures with it as well!
Love the detail you captured on the ...oh...what IS the name of that fabric!? I cannot remember!
Too tired to remember! But I love the shadow of the doily, just can't get away from beautiful lace, can you! ;) BURLAP!!! That is it! Seeing the details of the weave makes me want to try cross stitching on burlap!
Never thought of that before...I know, just because I think of it DOE NOT mean I should try it! Working of focusing here...!
hugs,
Betsy
