I was so hoping that we would get a little bit of sunshine, or at least fairly bright weather for an hour or two so that I could take photographs, but, sigh, it just rains and rains and rains. And even when it doesn't rain, it is still so dark that taking pics is almost impossible. But, as the title says, I just couldn't wait any longer, I took some photos, but they really don't do the subject justice. Whats the subject? Ah, you may have already worked that one out, lol. A little while ago, I bought some 'wearable art' from my darling friend Suzy of Suziqu's Threadworks, and it arrived a few days ago. Most of you will have seen pictures of it on a couple of her blog post, but if you are fairly new around here, and haven't come across her yet, then you can drool over her amazing creations HERE.
And here is that awesome piece of wearable art -
At the moment, it is pinned to a lovely long and loose black velvet jacket, but it was impossible to photograph that in this light.
And being the wonderful woman she is, she also sent me some trims and pieces of gorgeous fabrics -
There is only one art brooch left in her Etsy shop as I write this, so if you would love to get your very own piece of Suziqu wearable art, then you had better hurry over HERE. I absolutely adore mine. Thank you, Suzy, you are amazing!!!

Hi Lizzie, Our dear Suzy's art brooch is gorgeous. Besides all the pretty laces, I adore those lovely buttons and that beautiful metal piecs. Is that a tiny drawer pull?
Have a great weekend! I hope you'll get some better weather soon.
Hugs,

Dear Liz
Firstly let me say I am so thrilled that you won Rhonda's Giveaway!
Everything is so beautifully French and delicate in the lockets, pendant, holy cards and that tin type petite journal.
Just gorgeous. That would brighten any girl's heart!
I nearly missed a couple of posts here while I've been busy with the Grow Your Blog party!!!
Rain rain rain - time to go away!
Thank you for displaying my vintage brooch so beautifully. The light must have been perfect enough to do the job with your exquisite photography!
Did I tell you that the little buttons were a vintage cuff link?
It pleases me no end that you are so happy with it and the little additions to play with.
I'm sending some sunshine hugs from sunny downunder,
Suzy
