The Lady in Grey

For this week's Grey Dey Thursdey party over at Petite Michelle Louise's blog, I wanted to show you a beautiful Madonna I bought in France this summer. She is quite tall, over 20cm, and a beautifully aged silver grey -

Also from France are these silvered metal clock rings, errrmm, you know, the bit that holds the glass in on large mantle clocks. I found a bunch of them at a brocante and thought they would be quite useful for mixed media collages etc -

And yes, you guessed it, the little cross and the gorgeous vintage flower pin also came from a French brocante -

The gorgeous embroidered fabric in the above photograph is lovely shade of slightly beigey grey. It might just find its way into some more grey packs I am preparing over the weekend.

Thanks, Michelle, for hosting this cool grey party again, I love it!
