Crafty bits and pieces

I have been able to spend some time in the craftavan over the last couple of days, catching up with some challenges and generally having a grand old time messing around with paper, lace and glue.

I joined my second ATC swap over at Kimberly's ArtJoyStuff blog  This time round the theme was SEW MANY FLOWERS. I still don't have my sewing machine set up, there is so little space in my craftavan, so I couldn't actually SEW any flowers. But, I did have a bunch of lace flowers, and thats almost the same as sewn flowers, right?

These are my three ATCs for the swap -

They went off to today, fingers crossed that they will get there in time.

While I was messing around with all my crafty bits, I also made a few tags and a bookmark for a special young lady surrounded by apple orchards.

Tags first -

There were tiny blue flowers outside the craftavan, and the tag colours went so well with them, I photographed them together -

Another tag, inspired by the many many birds flying in and out of our trees -

Oh, and here is this week's Tag Tuesday challenge tag, GARDENING

As I said on the Tag Tuesday blog, I am not much of a gardener, although I am trying to dig a veggie garden here at the cottage in France. I do need a Garden Fairy, and lucky me has one, in the shape of my dear friend Christine. Christine really has gardening magic in her fingers, she can grow anything, and she is the lovely person who gives me seeds and seedlings to get me going. She is my pesonal Garden Fairy, sprinkling gardening magic on me whenever I go and visit ( and pick up more seedlings. lol ). So really, this tag is dedicated to her.

This is the special bookmark I made, as asked for, for a young lady surrounded by apple orchards, who loves reading -

Thats all for today, back tomorrow! Toodlepip xxx

And, in Joslyn's words, "She is SO SWEET!"
