CHARITY AUCTION UPDATE

The first set of auctions to raise desperately needed funds for 4 animal rescue shelters finishes today. When I set the finishing times, I was a bit of an idiot, totally forgetting that 4pm my time in the UK would be the middle of the night for people in Australia and New Zealand. So to make it fair and give everybody a chance to put in some last minutes bids, I have changed the finishing times to start at7pm UK time, which still means getting up early for some of you, but at least it is not the middle of the night. I have also put the finishing times much closer together, 5 minutes apart, so that you don't have to hang around too long. I promise I will think about these things more carefully the next time I hold a charity auction, lol! But please do check the new finishing times on any auctions you have bids on.

I have just totalled up what has been bid so far, and it comes to $307.00, which is fabulous, thank you so much to all of you who have already put in bids. I would dearly love to be able to give each of the 4 charities $100, so please take another look at the auctions, perhaps bid a little more on some, and perhaps consider some of the auctions which don't have any bids on them yet. They feel sad and left out!!!

Total has just risen to $312.00! Thank you JeanFB :-).

My darling son Stefan and his family are hoping to adopt this little fella, Gizmo, through the Paws2Rescue charity. Keep your fingers crossed that all goes well, please. They have fallen in love with this tiny little chap.

Sending big thank you hugs to you all, toodlepip xxx
