Our Beautiful World - ROAD

The word prompt over at the Our Beautiful World blog today is ROAD. Our cottage in France is in the deepest countryside, and the roads in the area are narrow. Very narrow. The bit which leads to our cottage cannot really be called a road, it is an unpaved country lane, occasionally a very muddy country lane, lol, after spells of rain. This photo of our tiny country road/lane was taken last winter -

Wishing you all a lovely relaxing Sunday, toodlepip xxx

Hello:

During all of the years we lived in a remote part of Herefordshire our house too was approached by a similar lane which, in our case, ended in a farmyard. We loved the sense of isolation which it brought.

Liz it looks like your dogs are very happy, there is room and opportunity for them to run freely, a wonderful photo.

So beautiful, you captured the frost and frozen snow on the trees so magically! The French country side, so romantic! Some day I hope to see it!

How blessed you are to have this wonderful spot in France! I love the picture of the road, especially the dogs in the midst of the icy dirt road. Stunning!

I jumped back to check out your Craftavan and found it to be wonderful!

Your doggies are such great friends for each other and to you! You are so good to them as well.
That is such a lovely lane to your cottage, I love the wintry frost on the trees and shrubs, it is just a beautiful scene to have captured in a photograph!
Hugs,

Guten Morgen, liebe Freundin,

Oh Liz this is a keepsake!
Poppy and Hector running free chatting to each other as they run down that road - must be some road near your home in France?
You have captured the snow covered trees and hedge rows so beautifully!
love love love this one!
Running hugs,
Suzy

Fantastic, what a great shot Liz! I love how the dogs pop out but are still very much in tone with the colours of the landscape. And the interaction between them is great too. Well captured. Hugs from Sunny Netherlands
