Aaah, vide greniers and brocante!

Thankfully, the French don't seem to mind the rain, unlike the English, who cancel everything if there is a possibility of rain. Sunday was wet, it was raining, not hard, but drizzly, and I almost didn't go, because I wasn't sure whether the brocante would be on. But hubby was willing to drive, so off we went, and boy, was I glad we did! I found some really lovely things. I don't have much time, I am still without internet access at our home, so I am at our friends's house again. I'll just show you pics -

Thats it, gotta get back to our cottage so that Andy can mow the grass today, as the weather report for tomorrow is awful. I hope that it will stay dry for  a couple of hours in the morning, because there is a little vide greniers in the area.

Thank you all so very much for your comments and emails. I'll try and answer everything as soon as we get our own internet access. I am not a very patient person, all this waiting is driving me nuts, lol.

I wish you all a very happy weekend wherever you are. I am thinking of you.

Liz, dear, seems your weather is almost like here, -rain-a bit of sun-and rain...
Great that your husbond would drive you anyway :)
I can see how much you would have missed it not...
I love the box, the mini trunk, the shelf, the old food boxes--oh well you know , I would have bought it all myself, if the opertunity was there, lol.
Are you doing good ? I hope you enjoy and have a cosy time together,--also hope you will soon have acces to the internet from your home.
Hugs and love, Dorthe

Dear Liz
Well from all of your wonderful purchases I can see that you haven't been bored for one second without having access to your studio room where creativity occurs.
Love everything especially that dear little case full of the stuff we call "food for the soul" and that silver placed tarnished tea set is to die for and I know the perfect place for that here! (LOL!).
Hope all is going smoothly for you both and the whole family as well back in England.
Hope broadband is inching its way to you closer and closer!
Take care and sending lots of kind thoughts!
Love and hugs,
Suzy

Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow will keep the shopper from her appointed rounds! :-)
