The Domino Book of Dogs

A couple of years ago, I made two little domino books, one which was a present for a friend and one which I kept. It had vintage images of birds and I had it displayed on a shelf by the computer where I could see it every day. This was it -

I decided that it would be a nice thing to put into the auction one of the rescue charities I support is holding. And bids are coming in, yay. So I thought perhaps a new domino book with vintage dog images would be a nice idea for the auction, and spent all evening making this -

And it got a bid the minute it went on, yay!

Now I am thinking, should I make a vintage cats one as well? Hmm, not sure yet. But it really was fun making another domino book.

Simply Neutrals Tuesday No. 19 - tubbies

I use a lot of wide sellotape, I mean, a LOT, lol, sending Etsy items around the world. So I have been left with many empty cardboard rolls. I started making them into little tubbies for all kinds of things a while ago, and last night I made another one for a few of my little jewellery making tools. Here are the 4 which are always on my desk -

The new one from last night -

Of course, they all have to have a bit of bling on them :-).

Attempting a masterboard

My goodness, its been ages since I did some crafting, and I really needed to get some glue and ink on my hands :-). I have a big box with about a million small pieces of paper, left over from tags, ATCs, collages, die cutting, punching etc, and I thought it was about time to try and use some of the bits for a masterboard. This was so much fun!

This was the board after I stuck a multitude of little bits of paper onto it -

I then rubbed some paint over it all, a greyish white and a beigey white, stamped it randomly with a variety of new and very vintage stamps and sprayed it with some golden stuff. Lastly, glued on some small skeleton leaves -

Now what am I going to do with it, lol?

Oh, as these are all neutral colours, I am joining Wen's Simply Neutrals Tuesday party! You can find the party HERE and drool over more beautiful neutrals.
