Attempting a masterboard

My goodness, its been ages since I did some crafting, and I really needed to get some glue and ink on my hands :-). I have a big box with about a million small pieces of paper, left over from tags, ATCs, collages, die cutting, punching etc, and I thought it was about time to try and use some of the bits for a masterboard. This was so much fun!

This was the board after I stuck a multitude of little bits of paper onto it -

I then rubbed some paint over it all, a greyish white and a beigey white, stamped it randomly with a variety of new and very vintage stamps and sprayed it with some golden stuff. Lastly, glued on some small skeleton leaves -

Now what am I going to do with it, lol?

Oh, as these are all neutral colours, I am joining Wen's Simply Neutrals Tuesday party! You can find the party HERE and drool over more beautiful neutrals.

Ooooh, it's fabulous! Make sure to photocopy it before you cut it..... if you can ever bear to cut it, LOL! I made one once that I was particularly fond of and made it a journal/booklet cover. Yours would be beautiful as an art journal cover!

Looks amazing Liz! So what is the substrate and what size is it? You could pin it on your inspiration board and even paste a beautiful image transfer onto it. Is it flexible?
I've not heard of a masterboard!
It's just great making time to view here!

OHHHHHHH Liz,
this is stunning, I so love what you have created, so much beauty here, in layers, the papers you used and painted, stamped over, and the skeleton leaves are so very fragile and beautiful to see on top of your masterly created page with the golden details.
I think you will keep it for some time before cutting ,dear friend.I have been with Mathilde, -had a colonoscopy, all was fine, thankyou , and time just runs,Liz, for you too I know, but I hope to soon see you on my blog ,my very dear friend.
Love and hugs,Dorthe

Wow, too good to cut up, Liz... what a gorgeous idea. You could even use it as it was before you painted and embellished it. Stunning idea! You've inspired me -that's a great exercise to do if you are 'stuck'! And so good for using up tiny scraps, too.
Have a lovely creative week. Hugs,
Jesse

Fabulous background and great choice of stamps, Lizzie!!! With all the possibilities it's probably difficult to decide what to use it for but it will be great for all kinds of projects.
Have a lovely week! :)
