Halfway through packing............. Tag Tuesday STRAWBERRY

Yikes! I was just packing the last bits and pieces for our trip tonight and suddenly remembered that I hadn't made this week's challenge tag yet. I had already missed one a few weeks ago when I was ill and I sure didn't want to miss another one, so I dropped everything and sat down and made my STRAWBERRY tag for this week's Tag Tuesday challenge over the Blog Challenge Garden.

Here it is -

I used a gorgeous label which Heidi had posted along time ago, a piece of vintage French red striped ticking, a teeny bit of red fringeing, and I made a couple of strawberries out of felt and stuck those on as well. All done and it didn't take me all day this time, lol.

Now I am back to the packing, a couple of hours sleep and then the drive to the cottage. YAY.
Back soon, toodlepip xxx

PS - AND JUST BECAUSE I AM SO HAPPY WE ARE GOING TO THE COTTAGE, I HAVE DECIDED TO HAVE A GIVEAWAY WHEN WE GET BACK! ALSO, 300+ FOLLOWERS IS MOST DEFINITELY WORTH CELEBRATING AS WELL. SO WHILE I AM AWAY, HAVE A THINK OF WHAT YOU MIGHT LIKE IN THE GIVEAWAY AND LET ME KNOW IN YOUR COMMENTS!

Oh that's such a cute tag. I love strawberries so much. Love your bit of ticking and that label is so pretty.

Now about your giveaway... I'd really love to have the contents of your linen cupboard, all your laces, French fabrics and we can't forget your button collection!

Love your beautiful tag! Love the little felt strawberries too! I had thought to make a tiny fabric strawberry pincushion type of "dangly" at the top, hanging from a ribbon of some sort, on mine; but then I thought I might want to put this in my family cookbook eventually, so TOO much dimension wouldn't have worked for that... Anyways, love the vintage-looking add you used too!... Have fun at the cottage! ~tina

You are amazing, Liz! I could never create in passing, knowing I would go on a trip the next day. Your tag is lovely and looks mouth-watering.
As for the giveaway, how about a tag, bits of lace, a piece of that pretty robin egg blue ricrac and a jelly mould? Don't worry, I'm kidding on the jelly mould ;-).
Have a wonderful time in France and enjoy the great food, the lovely scenery and certainly the brocantes :-).
Hugs to you,
Julia

Now I have a reason to eat all I want of them..hehe
