Inchie Monday, Tag Tuesday, Geocaching Wednesday and catching up Thursday, lol

I won't bore you with geocaching again today, I got so carried away in yesterday's post, lol, I'll do that tomorrow instead ;-). But whilst we were out treasure hunting, we took a few pics of the general cache areas, and I'll share those with you tomorrow as they show parts of the town where I live here in England.

INCHIE MONDAY

Right, well, I am only a few days late this week. The theme for this week was "Caring", and as a mother of 3 sons, my immediate thought was of course that a mother never stops caring, even when her sons are grown men.

I used a bit of left over card which had a little copper stamping on it for the background. A tiny bit of trimmed down lace, two little rhinestones to pick out the blue in the mother's hairband, a blue flower, a little bit of aging round the edges, and of course the all important words, and there you have it, this week's inchie -

TAG TUESDAY

I really enjoy the tag challenges. This week the theme was "winter". I used a white tag and a lovely blue ink to colour it. Added a sweet image of a very pretty young girl in the snow and outlined it with silver German glass glitter. I used a piece of torn muslin at the top to simulate snow and icicles hanging down over the pic. Added a few shimmery snowflakes, and I also drew a few with white and silver pens. Printed out the words, and then tackled the most difficult part, lol, giving the girl glowing cheeks ever so gently to make it look like the hand colouring in old photographs -

Ok, time for a cup of tea now, and then it is clear up time, crafting is such a messy business, lol.
