A quick hello from France

Hello my dear friends,

I am visiting friends this afternoon, before going to an evening vide greniers, and they have internet, woohoo! So I snuck onto the computer quickly to say hello to you all and to thank you for all your lovely well wishes! I am so happy being in our cottage, the only thing I miss is the internet access, because I do miss being able to get in touch with you all, read your blogs, share my finds etc. One day, lol, one day we´ll have to invest in satellite internet I guess.

Right, got to go again, we have a vide greniers to go to, lol!

I´ll try and be in touch again soon!

Oh my word - that's scary if Her Lizziness has managed to get near a computer. Now we're in for it, lol.

Her Lizziness called me the other day, which was very sweet of her - I do miss the old bat when she's away, but don't tell her that :0)
She assured me she's having a lovely time and in her words, she "hasn't found much at the vide grenier". Do we believe her? I think not. Blogger may blow up when she comes back with all her pics. Heehee.

Well how lovely to hear from you, Liz, although all our vide greniers seem to have dried up so, once again, you're making me jealous!

If you're anywhere with the internet next Wednesday, I will be posting about something with a direct link to you - if not, it will still be there for you when you get home!

If that's the only dent in your enjoyment of the cottage, think how perfect things will be once you get that internet access delivered! Have a great time. xx

You're checking emails!!! I've not known quite what to do...send a snail mail to your England address or write to you in France and hope you get it...to say a huge, big THANK YOU for the double-handled chopper!! Liz,it's fabulous!! It's already hanging in our kitchen! And we WILL USE IT TOO! It's a "pumpkin chopper" from what I've read and everyone knows those things are hard to cut! Same with acorn squash! Thank you again! You were so kind and thoughtful to search one out for me in France. And to think of all the French cuisine this has prepared...oh my! I'm gaining weight just thinking about it!

Blessings, sweet lady!
Diane

Ok Lizzie I'm missing you now. You can come back earlier if you like. I wish you'd given me your French addy so I could send you a card. You seem so much father away when you don't have your computer. Anyway I hope you aren't working too hard outside and have managed to get some lovely crochet time in. Have a wonderful holiday.
