France Post 6 - A Little Stroll through a French Town

I know I promised to show the linens today, and I know a lot of you are waiting to see them, but I haven't had time to photograph them yet! But come hell or high water, I'll photograph them tomorrow and post tomorrow as well, lol, AND............ just to make up for the long wait I will list some of them in Vintageland! Gorgeous monogrammed antique linen towels with THAT RED STRIPE, exquisite monogrammed damask serviettes, gorgeous monogrammed antique linen sheets, oh and perhaps a few 19th C lace bundles as well.

But, that will just have to wait til tomorrow, today I am taking you on a womble through a small town close to where we live in France. I know I usually prattle on and on, so just for a change, this time, there will be lots of pictures, but few words -

One quite often sees religious statues with old houses. I found this tiny madonna and child in a little niche so beautiful -

French air conditioning, lol -

This corner of the house was part of the very old town wall-

Quirky garden statues -

These fabulous little figures hold back the old window shutters-

You'll find cafes in the smallest little villages -

A few pictures of the lovely old church -

It is a rather lovely little town with lots of history, and I thoroughly enjoyed a couple of hours wombling through the little streets. I hope you have enjoyed your visit as well.
