AUCTION No. 4 - Vintage French benitier/Holy Water font - FINISHED

No. 4 on the list was religious plaque. This vintage French benitier is made from a beautifully soft and light green onyx with a pressed glass font. The large oval brass medal depicts St. Catherine. I would think that originally the medal was silver plated, but alas the silver has been polished off over the decades. Onyx is quite soft, and there are a few small nibbles on the edges. The onyx front is backed by a brass plate. It measures approx. 13cm tall by 7.5cm across the widest point.
