Simply Neutrals Tuesday - Gorgeous Greys

We are still at the cottage in France, and the weather has been pretty unkind to us. Couldn't get much done in the garden. We managed to clear the veggie patches of most of the spent plants ( but not the weeds yet, lol ), cleared away all the bits and pieces which had decorated the garden over the summer and disposed of all the dead geraniums etc. We also worked our way through 7 seasons of The Big Bang Theory, it had us in stitches on those rainy days we had to spend inside and the long evenings. But I find it really difficult to just sit and watch tv, my fingers were itching to do some crafting. Just a teeny bit of crafting. I wanted to check on the craftavan anyway to make sure everything was wintersafe, so I wombled across to the top field the other day and spend a few minutes revising summer spent in there. And........ I found a tiny tub with bits and pieces for a little needle keep in there, which I had brought with me, oh, probably a year or two ago and totally forgotten about. Yay! So today, I finally tipped it all out, sorted out the beautiful hand dyed grey laces and embellishments and got stitching -

I have only done the cover, front and back, so far, haven't put the grey felt inside for the needles yet. Maybe I'll get that done tomorrow.

I am linking this post to Wen's wonderful Simply Neutrals Tuesday party over HERE. Sigh, so many beautiful neutrals to drool over, hop over and see for yourself!
