But, BLUES is the theme for this week's tag over at the TAG TUESDAY blog. Yes I know, it is only Monday, but dang it all, I am in the mood for creating lately, so I got my tag done early, whoopee!
I started with a piece of dotted paper from a 6x6 stack called Silent Night. I made a big blossom from a length of recycled sari silk ribbon and added some vintage stamen to it. Then I added a little spray of small vintage French flowers/leaves (?) made with tiny little blue beads and some small blue flowers from ArtJoyStuff's Etsy shop. A little stamped script, a few stamped birds and bees to remind me that Spring is just around the corner and that was just about it -
And now I have to do something about my poor neglected Etsy shop. First the rotten cold and the spurt of creativity have meant that I have not added anything to it for quite a while. Off I go to photograph, edit, measure, package, weigh and write. Or give a a good excuse to create something else, tehehehe.

ReplyDeleteOh what a glorious display of the most gorgeous shade of deep turquoise? What a sweet rose fashioned from the sari ribbon and it highlights all of the vintage beads on the copper stem and complementing the sweet little blue ones from Kimberly's shop.

ReplyDeleteI've be3n here a few times but not yet commented! I love the teal tag, so pretty, I find myself more attracted to teal all the time. I have some teal fabric from a dress I made as a bride;s maid years ago....I shall dig that out and see what fun thing I can make with it!
