Our beautiful world - SEPTEMBER

After yesterday's veeery long self indulgent post, I have a mercifully short one for you today. This week, the prompt over at the Our Beautiful World blog is SEPTEMBER. For me that means cooler nights, shorter days, and a change in colours, smells and textures around us. It also heralds the appearance of little fungi all over the place and pine cones being dropped on my head whenever I stay too long under the pine trees on our property :-). Here are just a couple of photos I took this morning -

    Oh I just love all the beautiful texture Nature provides and these are so beautiful especially with your up close images of these fungi, pine cones, bark and knarled old woodland trees. Love it all!

  5. Beautiful photoes dear friend- those white fungi`s looks fantastic, are they eatable? and the smaller ones,too ?? The white ones dosen`t look healthy ,lol ?

  10. Aahh, I always love looking at little treasures, that nature presents us. Like the button-looking mushrooms on the ground :). How I love to sit around the tree bark, wrapped in warm blanket and just waiting for the pine cones to drop!. Thank you for sharing with us @ OBW, this September moments.
