Pink Saturday - Vintage Candlewick

I love vintage blankets and bedspreads. Gorgeously tactile old wool blankets, light as a feather cellular blankets and best of all, candlewick bedspreads. This is one of my favourite candlewick bedspreads, it has the most delicious pink and green floral design -

I need to get out into the garden and tackle the jungle, wish me luck!

I am linking this post to PINK SATURDAY at How Sweet The Sound. So much pink loveliness to look at!

  1. Hi Liz,
This is simply stunning. I love the soft colors too and the design.
I also love to do candlewicking stitch art. Not seen much anymore, but I am working on a few projects.
Hope you have a nice weekend.

  7. That is the most gorgeous thing I have ever seen! I was reading through your blog and I would love to hop the ocean and wander through your house just looking at all of your lovely crafting items and fabric! I hope to get to Paris next year and I am going to buy French language books, and books, and books!

  9. I love your vintage bedspread, I found one in a flea market once and cut it up to use it in my patch work cushions.
Yours is too precious to do that to.
