Pink Saturday - Vintage Candlewick

I love vintage blankets and bedspreads. Gorgeously tactile old wool blankets, light as a feather cellular blankets and best of all, candlewick bedspreads. This is one of my favourite candlewick bedspreads, it has the most delicious pink and green floral design -








I need to get out into the garden and tackle the jungle, wish me luck!

    oh my!! Simply Fantastic. I've never heard it called candlewick. But that makes sense. I used to do candlewicking years ago. Across the pond we call it chenelle

    That is the most gorgeous thing I have ever seen! I was reading through your blog and I would love to hop the ocean and wander through your house just looking at all of your lovely crafting items and fabric!     These spreads are hard to find and is yo do, they are pricey. Yours is a very pretty one. I have had them in the past, but what happened to them, Lord only knows.

    I love your vintage bedspread, I found one in a flea market once and cut it up to use it in my patch work cushions.
