White and Grey

Blissful Whites Wednesdays over at Becky's TIMEWASHED blog and Grey Dey Thursdeys at PETITE MICHELLE LOUISE's blog are always so much fun. As I love seeing both whites and greys together, I like combining both linky parties in one post.

 Lets start with Blissful Whites. I found this beautiful plaque of Christ in France this summer, along with the sweet little white glass bead rosary -



This absolutely stunning Victorian dress top lace inset is also from France -


 And these amazing crinoline lady buttons are French as well -

 The  bracelet, however, was in a bag of jewellery bits and pieces which I bought at an English boot fair. Love all the dangly bits, they make such a lovely little tinkly noise -


And on to the greys. Very different from the whites. Instead of beautiful lace and smooth pearls, I have grungy metal for you. Delightfully ornate back plates on a sweet tiny tarnished tray -





The background is a gorgeous antique French ticking fabric.

    Gorgeous whites and Greys...I love the plaque, the rosary beads are so pretty...
    That lace dress inset it fabulous! And the buttons and bracelet...wow...so beautiful.

    Your grey silvers are very lovely as well as the French ticking....I just LOVE that ticking!
