It is definitely not leather, rather some kind of heavy duty cardboard sort of stuff. Hmm. Thats why I was thinking about rubbing it down and painting it. If it was leather, I wouldn't dream of doing that, I would just lovingly polish it and leave it as is.Lululizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16252036505940629329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2281736080969854483.post-24205035535992687312009-07-11T08:20:41.109+01:002009-07-11T08:20:41.109+01:00Oh my! Why spend time crocheting when there's one ready-made for you :)
Oh, and those mohair yarn for a fluffety blanket? You're giving me ideas! I have a stash of mohair yarn (thrift store bought, of course!) just begging me to use them.
Hmm, those chisels are really handsome. Must be worth every penny.
Oh! One question though, what paint will you use for the leather suitcase? It must sound like a silly question, but I'm curious, if I ever get hold of a worn-out leather suitcase.JuanitaTortillahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00918884565822681674noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2281736080969854483.post-61923337469213918712009-07-09T21:11:37.841+01:002009-07-09T21:11:37.841+01:00Now come on, Sarah, whats more important, having a...Now come on, Sarah, whats more important, having a shower or checking the blog postings? Whats a little smelliness between friends, lol. Not a naughty mummy at all, just a mummy who gets her priorities right.Lululizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16252036505940629329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2281736080969854483.post-62723999367191091472009-07-09T21:02:55.721+01:002009-07-09T21:02:55.721+01:00Rofl, Floss, it would be a tad difficult, wouldn&#...Rofl, Floss, it would be a tad difficult, wouldn't it? It would be so much fun though. I think we might have to put all our finds together at the end of the day, number them and then draw lots, lol, and that way we could have fun during the day, have fun in the evening and as we have similar tastes in bootfair finds, have great results.Lululizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16252036505940629329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2281736080969854483.post-18113429168915222432009-07-09T21:02:46.810+01:002009-07-09T21:02:46.810+01:00I can only imagine my husband's face if I arri...I can only imagine my husband's face if I arrived home with that lot!!! Love the copper thing and the suitcase. I wouldn't paint it, love the natural colour as it is. And I have never seen chizels that huge before!

Anyway I'd better get on with it. I'm supposed to be getting in the shower but I am sooo naughty in the mornings and sneek on the computer instead of getting dressed.
